Chickenfoot Live: Get Your Buzz On! - DVD & "Virtual Concert" Screenings

Some of you have heard the rumors for a while and we are happy toconfirm/announce that in late spring a LIVE Chickenfoot DVD will be coming out. We're also excited to announce that via a partnership with Virtual Venues Network, there will be sneak previews coming to a club near you- bringing you a nearly live Virtual Concert™ experience. Featuring an early look at the upcoming concert DVD and exclusive unseen bonus footage, these showings will tour on a big screen in local clubs - large and loud - in select cities!

Most tickets will be around $10 for this special sneak preview screening.
Does anyone know the year, month, and day the DVD was recorded? If it was over multiple shows, what was the range of the dates?

I brought my cousin who had never seen Chickenfoot before. I was standing against a wall watching the show (couldn't sit like in the theater) and soon after the show started, she was right next to me rockin' out! I looked at her and said, "Now you know why I fly all over the place to see these guys!" and she agreed. She wants to sneak in my suitcase.
Anyone know the exact date the DVD will be released and will it be available only at BestBuy?

US release date is 5/4 and though it is not exclusive to Best Buy, should be there.
I've seen Sammy&Mike together and seperate a few times saw Chad never seen joe want to see the foot in Holmdel. anything the godfather does is goodstuff hope to see'm again soon!
Saw it in the theaters back in December. Looking forward to getting the DVD.
Just found out that this will be on Blu-ray on 4-20. Thanks so much for putting it on blu-ray. It is going to kick ass and sound so much better and look better than regular dvd. It will be just like being at the show. CHICKENFOOT ROCKS!!!!!!

Yes, I went. It was the same movie shown back in December. The sound was better in the bar than at the theater, so that was good. The "bonus" footage at our showing were the Soap on a Rope and Sexy Little Thing videos. No extra live concert footage, so I was a little bummed about that. But, it was great to see the Phoenix show again. And I did tell everyone at the bar that the concert footage seen in the SLT video was shot at El Corazon, so they all thought that was cool.

thanks Michelle...sounds like the club is a much more comfortable and social atmosphere to see Chickenfoot...and the sound quality wasnt so great when i saw the movie in theater. Looking forward to more announcements!
Yeah, it was kind of ironic watching them on a big screen right in front of the actual stage I saw them on last May! I think in the club atmosphere people are more willing to let loose a little and sing along and cheer after each song. Or maybe that's just me! lol All I know is that I enjoyed it, and let myself get lost in the music just like at a real concert. And the Fire Marshall didn't stop this show, so that's good!

Glad you had a good time! Btw, a quick note-- as mentioned at http://www.chickenfoot.us/tour/2010-02-26-el-corazon-virtual-concert-scr... this was the first show and is so far in advance of the DVD release that the full bonus footage is not yet done. The next show in a couple of weeks (and others from then on) will have different bonus footage.
please hit up somewhere between san fransisco and north sonoma county. last time this was showing the closest was in san jose or something :(

Yes it was interesting to see how Satriani pulled that one off. It reminds me back in the day when he brought out "surfing with the alien" which was an all time classic. The privacy concerns were actually quite justified, as there was a strong media presence at the gig.

What a great way to spend a Friday evening in Seattle. Starting out at the new Hard Rock Cafe for dinner (just opened 2 weeks ago) and then hittin' El Corazon for the show. Can't wait to see The Foot again, even if it's only on the big screen!!
Geesh, I sure hope the Fire Marshall doesn't show up this time!!!
